Just like Deepa, there is another Indian woman who fight against all odds to overcome her physical disability and made a name for herself. Sudha Chandran, when just 16 years old, got her leg amputated below the knee in a road accident. It almost finished her dancing career even before the start. But, she didn't give up. After the physiotherapy for 3 years, she became a renowned professional dancer and there are movies in different languages made on her life-story.
